Here's the March 2021 Salish Sea orca sightings map! This provides a visual for some of the data presented on the chart we posted on April 1. March was, unsurprisingly, the busiest month of the year thus far for both ecotypes, and we look forward to seeing what the rest of April has in store!

As always, thanks to the Pacific Whale Watch Association, Orca Network, and all the regional sightings groups and citizen scientists who report their sightings to make this compilation possible.
