SJI Cares: 2024 County Fair Fundraiser

OBI was selected to participate in the San Juan Island Community Foundation's 2024 fair giving campaign! For the duration of the San Juan County Fair from August 15-18, we are raising funds to help create a new Bigg's killer whale video series to feature on our website alongside written content on specific Salish Sea family groups.  

Bigg's Killer Whale Video Series‍

Help us expand the media offerings on our website by developing a new series of videos featuring common local Bigg's killer whale families. The Southern Residents are well known thanks to decades of research, but the Bigg's have recently become much more common in the Salish Sea. These videos will promote their lesser-known stories.
